About Us

Totten’s Photography is located in Monroe, NC just outside Charlotte.  We love photographing anything that moves, and some that don’t.  We specialize in Weddings, Portraits, and anything in between.   Our contracts are no hassle, no gimmicks and you will receive high quality photographs at an affordable price. We are flexible and open to new ideas in order to meet your needs. You will receive all of your digital images with shared reproduction rights on CD or DVD. PhotoBooks, Portfolio, and Printing is available if not already included in a package.

The Photographer Michael’s passion for photography started at an early age.  His love for photographing anything and everything truly developed as his camera began to go everywhere with him.  He continued photographing all through high school and college, his cameras getting more sophisticated.  While in college he began photographing weddings in Northern Vermont.  Once graduating from college, he decided to move south to get away from the cold weather.  In June of 2007, Michael moved to Charlotte, NC.  Here he continued to photograph weddings, and portraits and started his own freelance photography business.  In December he began working at Fox Charlotte as a News Photographer and Editor.  He was able to take his love for photography and transform it into videography.  After spending two and a half years at Fox, Michael’s son was born, and he made the decision to leave news, and continue his love for photography on his own.
